Our Origins
More than 20 years of experience.
Born into a large family of transporters, Pierre Combemale has always been immersed in the world of the truck. International road driver in the family-owned company and then reporter-tryer for more than 20 years for FranceRoutes, leader of the road transport press.
With thousands of kilometres travelled across more than 80 countries, he created in 2004 (in parallel with his journalistic activity), the transport company Les Cargos Routiers named in tribute to his grandfather's eponymous company.
At the time, she was quickly nicknamed « Road snail ». It will change its name but this anecdote will make it the company's current logo. His initials will give birth to the current emblem, so was born « LCR » ...
In 2005, the company bought its first event semi-trailer and 2 years later acquired premises near Rodez Airport, an important step in the development of event activity.
In 2009, the LCR-EVENTS brand was created!
Today, LCR-EVENTS has built up a solid reputation with a large fleet of specialized vehicles that can be fully customised. Its event vehicles cross borders and continents without limits from their new base in Nuces on the Brive/Mediterranean axis.
